Bmw Announces Sales From Jan-april 2007

With an increase of 2.9 percent from the first four months of 2006 the BMW Group in the U.S announced that the company has sold 104125 vehicles from January to April of 2007. Last years first four months of sales totaled to 101151 vehicles.

BMW US reported April 2007 is one of the strongest months of sales in the country. Twenty eight thousand six hundred ninety two 28692 vehicles were sold in April 2007. It projects a 0.5 percent increase from April 2006 sales which totaled to 28563 vehicles.

Meanwhile BMW brand this year still has strong sales with a 4.9 percent increase as compared to its sales last year. Ninety two thousand six hundred seventy 92670 vehicles were sold from January to April this year while 88353 vehicles were sold last year.

Twenty five thousand three hundred ten 25310 BMW brand vehicles were sold in April 2007 making a 0.2 percent increase from last April 2006s 25250 vehicles.

Sales of BMW automobiles from January to April 2007 were pegged at 71907 automobiles. This showed a 5.3 percent increase from last years same period sales of 68311. In April 2007 alone a significant 10.1 percent increase was got by BMW from its 18427 sales in April 2006 to 20290 sales in April this year.

However the company experienced a 26.4 percent decrease in its sales of sports activity vehicles. Only 5020 vehicles were sold this April compared to 6823 sold vehicles in April last year. The X5 showed a 21.8 percent increase in sales in April 2007 as compared to its sales during the same period last year.

Meanwhile January to April sales of BMW sports activity vehicles increased 3.6 percent; from 20042 sold vehicles during the same period last year to 20763 vehicles this year.

Certified PreOwned CPO sales in April 2007 decreased 12 percent which totals to 7368 CPO sales versus April 2006 sales. From January to April 2007 CPO sales also went down; but this time only 7.9 percent. From 28630 last year sales reached only 26376 this year.

Two point one 2.1 percent sales on BMW automobiles increase was reported by MINI USA. Three thousand three hundred eighty two 3382 automobiles were sold this April and 3313 automobiles were sold on the same period last year. From April to January 2007 MINI USA reported a 10.5 percent sales decrease from 12798 cars sold last year to 11455 cars sold this year.

BMW maker of quality BMW catalytic converter and MINI brands combined BMW Group in America was established to include BMW brand the MINI brand and the RollsRoyce brand of Motor Cars.

As what most do not know BMW stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke in German or Bavarian Motor Works in English.

How To Get Cars To Run On Water Hho Powered Cars

Cars run on water sounds weird doesnt it? People say it is impossible. But it is actually possible. It is not by diluting the gasoline nothing is getting mixed here. This car has a conversion kit right beside the engine.

The purpose of this converter is to split the water molecule into oxygen and hydrogen gas molecules. That is H2O is getting split up resulting in gas HHO. Next this gas is introduced into a combustion chamber. The car thus run on this leads to a better combustion. Such cars can be called as waterfuelled cars.

Waterfuelled automobiles have already been discussed in some history books few science magazines and news papers since 1800s. Many books describe engines which can run on water.

A water fuelled car is one hypothetical motor car which utilizes water as fuel and produces energy from the water onboard without any energy input. It purports to extract or create energy from the water itself. This is the basis in a perpetualmotion machine.

It is not related to a steam engine which uses water for transmission of energy from any of the heat sources to the turbine or pistons that perform the job of rotating the engine. It is not even linked to the crowersix stroke that adds few additional strokes to a regular internal engine of combustion.

It is neither related to the water injection process which is usually a method used for cooling combustion chambers by adding up water to incoming air and fuel mixture which in turn allows higher compression ratios with comparatively low engine knocking detonation.

It is not similar to a hydrogen car where in to fuel it from water the energy is used from a power plant to generate hydrogen gas through electrolysis.

It works on chemical energy content of water. The combustion of few conventional fuels like petrol or gasoline coal wood etc. results in formation of substances with comparatively low energy.

Natural chemical processes or reactions dont create energy. It is released by forming stable bonds from unstable bonds. Water is one such chemical abundant in nature since it has stable bonds which resist many reactions.

Theoretically it is possible to extract all energy from water by the process of nuclear fusion. Currently we dont have any commercially available goods based on the above technologies. Several have already been produced in courts but they have been fraudulently used for investment funds.

Inventors of the waterfuelled engines say that this technology has already been put into use but it was suppressed by international conventionalfuel suppliers like oil companies.

Motorcycle Windshields: Advantages And Disadvantages

Motorcycle windshields are common on touring motorcycles. They can be added to just about any other type of motorcycle. Just like everything else though motorcycle windshields have advantages and disadvantages.

One advantage to having motorcycle windshields is that it blocks the wind and makes for a better and more comfortable ride. Having windshields there to block bugs flying at the face and rocks being thrown from the vehicles in front is definitely an advantage. No one wants to drive down the highway and suddenly taste a bug or see one spat on your cheek just below your eye. Windshields definitely offer the advantage of better obstacle blockage.

A disadvantage would be visibility. While it is great to have something to block things flying at your face it isn’t so great when all that builds up on motorcycle windshields and blocks visibility. You can’t drive safely if you can’t see where you are going.

Another advantage is the aerodynamics of motorcycle windshields. They allow the air to flow evenly up and over the motorcycle. Having better aerodynamics with windshields can improve gas mileage and with the gas prices sky rocketing any amount saved in gas is always an advantage.

A disadvantage would be the glare given off by motorcycle windshields. Not all windshields give off a glare but when they do they can be blinding. It is hard to drive when you are being blinded by the glare likewise it is hard for other drivers to drive with a glare.

Another disadvantage is the weather. In some weather it is better to see without motorcycle windshields then it is to see with them. They can make it hard to see in foggy or wet weather. Just like with glasses windshields can fog up attract moisture and have ice. Any of these conditions can make it difficult for visibility.

If you get the wrong size it could definitely affect visibility. Trying to look over the windshield or under the top of the windshield can be annoying and dangerous. If you don’t look entirely through or entirely above your motorcycle windshields you could have problems with blind spots due to the line in your line of vision.

One consideration that would give the best of both worlds would be removable motorcycle windshields. This would allow you to place it on the motorcycle when going on long trips and remove it on bad weather days or when visibility is poor to begin with. It can add to the aerodynamics when you ride in conditions that would affect the mileage and speed such as uphill and curving roads. Also you may consider having the windshield tinted to reduce glare and increase visibility. Be careful how tinted you have the windshield though because in dark conditions it may make it hard to see if they are too dark. Glasses have anti fog coating and you can get the same coating for your motorcycle windshields.
