Honda Redesigns Cr-v For 2007 Model Year

Honda Redesigns Cr-v For 2007 Model Year

The Honda CRV has always been a popular compact SUV among American car buyers. Its compact design gives it a carlike performance while its interior and luggage capacity is remarkably like that of an SUV.

The Honda CRV is a good choice over a crossover utility vehicle or even a sedan if versatility is what consumers are looking for. And for the 2007 model year Honda made the compact SUV even better.

Outside the 2007 Honda CRV looks even smaller than it really is. Its aerodynamic styling makes it look like a version of the Acura MDX. Aside from that the original good points of the sport utility vehicle are also present. Honda made the latest version of the Honda CRV shorter than its predecessor while at the same time sharing the same length of the wheelbase. This makes the new CRV even smaller and better to handle.

Another improvement on the Honda CRV is the new engine which produces 166 horsepower and this is ten more than its predecessor. The tires are also changed thus giving the 2007 CRV 17inch wheels. This makes the Honda CRV look even better than a vehicle with a Nissan fender.

Features available for trim packages of the 2007 CRV include a power sunroof which is a good bet for car buyers who want to open up their roofs and let the sunshine in. The entertainment system is an AM/FM radio with an indash sixCD changer and an MP3 player which will please music loving road bound motorists.

For those who want better handling and security an allwheel drive configuration is available. The allwheel drive gives the Honda CRV a better handling and traction which gives it good offroad driving capability. The fourcylinder engine of the new CRV is quiet compared to the previous engine used for the CRV. The 166 horsepower is deemed by auto experts adequate to power the more than 3500 pounds bulk of the vehicle.

Other good points for the 2007 Honda CRV are the interior space and its excellent handling. Both these attributes are due to the smaller design of the vehicle. Since it is not very wide or very tall for an SUV it has the handling capability that one can commonly find in a sedan. While the dimensions of the vehicle are less than that of the past generation it offers adequate interior room. The cockpit provides good legroom and headspace even for tall drivers. The vehicle has a relatively low center hump which gives good legroom for rear passengers.

Even with its small appearance it can comfortably seat a grownup in the second row unlike most SUVs. This second row of seats can be completely folded down to increase cargo capacity to 72.9 cubic feet. With the seat in place the CRV still offers adequate luggage capacity of 35.6 cubic feet.

All in all Honda did a good job on the redesign of the newest generation of the CRV.

How Does Running Your Car On Water And Gas Work?

How Does Running Your Car On Water And Gas Work?

If you’ve ever looked into increasing your fuel economy odds are you’ve seen a lot about running your car on water and gas. But how is it possible to run your car in this fashion? Aren’t gas and water total opposites that don’t do well when mixed? Wouldn’t putting water into your engine make it stall and cause it to rust out?

Well yes if you just started injecting straight water into your engine that is what would happen. But that’s not what we’re doing in this case.

When people say “run your car on water and gas” they’re not being totally accurate. YES you do use water in the process and YES it does double your fuel mileage… but not in the way you’d think.

Here’s a simple explanation of how the process works:

Your car depending on how old it is burns between 1728 of the fuel that enters the engine. So you could say that for every gallon of fuel consumed roughly a quarter gallon gets turned into horsepower to drive you down the road. What happens to the rest?

It exits your engine through the exhaust and gets burned up in the catalytic converter. In essence it’s completely wasted.

Running your car on water and gas solve this problem. Here’s how it works… By applying an electric charge from your battery to a small tank of water mixed with an electrolyte like baking soda you create hydrogen gas.
This hydrogen is then fed directly into the engine’s air intake. The hydrogen makes the fuel burn much more completely. It’ll increase the amount burned by an average of 5060.

So let’s say before your engine was burning 20 of the fuel it was being fed after the conversion it’d be utilizing between 7080. Quite a big improvement.

In addition to this using hydrogen and gas to power your car makes your engine cleaner smoother and peppier by burning off the excess residues created in the inefficient unclean way your car has been burning fuel up until this point. Your car will also run cooler making it last longer.

But I can hear you saying isn’t hydrogen explosive? Won’t my car blow up on the freeway? No it won’t. The amount of hydrogen created in this process is so small it poses no threat. It’s completely different from those conversions that add a tank of hydrogen to your car. Those can blow up because of the shear volume of gas you’re driving around with.

What I’m talking about creates hydrogen on demand. It gets burned immediately after it’s created so it’s completely safe. No hydrogen is stored anywhere.

I hope this helped to open your eyes to the potential of drastically increasing your fuel mileage in a safe and easy way. It really does work. And there are lot’s of information products out there that’ll teach you how to convert your car using simple parts from a hardware store.

About the writer:  I’ve reviewed and tested many of these available plans and posted my findings on a website open for all to view. I hope you find it helpful in determining which system is right for your needs. View this product directory on water powered cars here.
